When writing Social Work papers, you must cite the sources you use to construct and defend your argument. Often professors will tell you to use the APA Style.

John B. Cade Library provides Southern University's BSW program with the academic resources that are needed to prepare majors for professional entry-level practice in social work, or for graduate studies.

The John B. Cade Library utilizes the Library of Congress Classification system of cataloging information.  In the LCC system Social Work falls under Social Sciences (Class H).  The call number for Social Work begins with HV. 

In the John B. Cade Library Social Science books are located (right off the elevator) on the 2^nd floor. 

Reference material, for Social Work, is found on the 1^st floor near the Ask Here desk.  If you need assistance ask the Reference Librarian at the desk.
