EDS provides "Research Starters" for many topics, encyclopedic entries summarizing author's work and topics of research that provide vetted links to academic journal articles.

It uses a shared, controlled vocabulary and thesaurus to describe entries, vastly increasing the accuracy of your search results. Many results will be available in the John B. Cade Library, those that are not can be located by the library staff.
