Dell Laptops, iPads and Kindles are available for check-out to current Southern University students. You will need a valid student identification card to check-out a device, and complete the Electronic Devices Lending Agreement form. All devices can be checked-out at the Ask Here Desk located on the 1st floor of the Library.

Electronic Devices Library Policy
Laptops/iPads/Kindles may be borrowed by Southern University students with a valid SU ID only, and no overdue fines.
¨Laptops/ iPads/Kindles must be returned to the 1st floor Ask Here Desk only.
¨Laptops/ iPads/Kindles cannot be renewed online.
¨Laptops/ iPads/Kindles must be returned with case, power cord.
Laptops/iPads must be fully charged and free from damage upon return.
Overdue fee:
$20.00 per day, Processing fee: $25.00.
¨ Replacement cost:
- Dell Laptops: $656.17
- iPad Air:$499,
- iPad Mini: $350.00
- Kindle: $200.00
