The Louisiana Academic Library Information Network Consortium (LALINC) provides participating libraries with a program enabling graduate students and faculty from one university to check out materials from another university’s library.
For the convenience of our SUBR students and faculty, the LALINC Reciprocal Borrowing Card Application process is straightforward. Fill out the form and return it to the Circulation Desk on the library's main floor, along with your valid Tech I.D. Cards are processed during regular weekday hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We kindly ask that you allow about a day before returning to the Circulation Desk to pick up your card.
It's a privilege for our SUBR students and faculty with good loan histories to have a LALINC card. This card opens up a world of resources, as patrons receiving LALINC cards will be given a chart of participating libraries and a LALINC Reciprocal Borrowing brochure and must follow the borrowing policies of each individual library. Complete the form below to request a LALINC Card. LALINC Cards are valid for one year.
