Library Resources for Faculty Instructors: SUBR Faculty Consultation Services

About the Library Consultation Services

The library offers personalized consultation services to support faculty in their academic and instructional endeavors. Consultation services include the following:

  • Institutional Repository Consultation Request Form: The library assists faculty with archiving and disseminating their scholarly works through our institutional repository. This includes guidance on depositing research, theses, and other scholarly outputs, ensuring proper metadata application, and navigating copyright and open-access licensing.
  • Information Literacy Modules (Instruct) Consultation Form: The library provides consultations to help faculty integrate library Instruct Modules into their courses. These modules cover critical information literacy concepts, digital literacy skills, and research strategies, enhancing students’ learning experiences.
  • Open Educational Resources Consultation Form: The library offers comprehensive support for identifying, adopting, and creating OER materials. Our services include helping faculty discover quality open textbooks and resources, understanding licensing (e.g., Creative Commons), and developing customized OER to replace costly textbooks.

Through these consultation services, we aim to empower faculty with tools and resources to enhance teaching, improve student outcomes, and contribute to the broader academic community.
